New opportunities to meet students at all levels of the program.
You will meet some Secondary Mathematics Education students in your classes, but AMES is a time when everyone meets together to connnect. You will have the opportunity to meet students at different points withing the program and get advice from them on classes, internship, and all things mathematics education.
What Happens at AMES Meetings?
We meet at 6 pm in Auburn University's Haley Center room 2442. We meet for about an hour and a half to hear from local teachers, administrators, and professionals within Mathematics Education. It is a great way to gain insights, ask questions, and be presented with new materials to use in the classroom. Oh, and there's always pizza!
Dues are $15.
